Desde o primeiro dia em Barueri, eu já tinha notado o lamentável sumiço verde-amarelo aqui no ginásio José Corrêa. Nossa comissão técnica não mandou nenhum representante para estudar as possíveis adversárias, mesmo com a distância de apenas 26 km entre uma sede e outra. Nesta sexta-feira sem jogos, dei um pulo até São Paulo e fiquei ainda mais estarrecido. Descobri que o Brasil também não vê os jogos do Ibirapuera! Inacreditável!
Conversei com várias pessoas que passam o dia inteiro no ginásio e os relatos foram idênticos: Antonio Carlos Barbosa aparece na aquibancada de vez em quando, conversa com um, cumprimenta outro, e mal presta atenção ao que se passa dentro da quadra.
Achou um absurdo?

Estou assistindo os jogos pela Rede Globo.
Acho que o Brasil tem condições de avançar as quartas de finais
pelo fator quadra.
A derrota pra Espanha pode pesar e muito agora.
Provavelmente se o Barbosa não está na arquibancada algum auxiliar
pelo menos é visto ?
Muito provavel que se usem espiões dentro do próprio Ibirapuera.
Isso é triste e revolvante.Os jogos estão ali é só sentar e
analisar.Não custa nada e aliás faz parte do trabalho de qualquer
bom técnico.Em competições amadoras como o Universitário
eu levei até os atletas para analisarem os adversários e terem também
outra visão.E olha que nem precisa dizer a diferença da importância.
Torço pelo basquete,se ele for bem,todos que gostam e trabalham
ou pretendem trabalhar,irão pra um caminho melhor.
Porém é dificil acreditar que iremos bem assim.
Temos a Lituânia logo mais,
Temos a Austrália e aí a derrota é quase certa
e teremos o Canadá.
Se perdemos estes dois primeiros jogos acho que faremos
um papel tão ruim quanto o Masculino e em casa.
Hoje é torcer muito e pelo menos,se Barbosa não analisou como
deveria as adversárias,torço pra que tenha analisado a nossa seleção
e que joguemos de forma completamente diferente dos três primeiros jogos.

Ok, professor. Você pode até colocar a seleção para jogar num ataque desenfreado. Isso até que funciona, às vezes, é verdade, desde que seu time acerte tudo e o outro time não tenha um bom dia e erre tudo. Mas qual é a probabilidade disso acontecer, professor? E se no seu time só uma jogadora tem um bom dia contra 5 do time adversário num ótimo dia?
Por conta das regras internacionais: área de 3 pts menor, não tem 3s na defesa... a zona, às vezes, pode funcionar. O problema vai ser quando o time estourar em faltas porque não consegue defender o perímetro, ou quando o time adversário conseguir trocar passes mais rápidos e tiver uma jogadora que arremesse de longe para abrir a defesa.
Mas convenhamos, professor, 22 desperdícios (8 no primeiro quarto!) não vai levar a seleção a lugar nenhum. "Quem assistiu aos primeiros jogos deve ter pensado que esse time não estava treinando nada".
Com todo respeito, professor, então suas atletas estão precisando treinar dobrado.
